Helpful Technology Tools

Our training covers a lot of ground and I mention a variety of tools that you might find helpful.  I decided to put them into one place so you don’t waste time scouring the internet.  These tools are split up into various groups according to the task at hand.  Weather you are leading worship, running sound, playing an instrument or just practicing at home you are bound to find something helpful on this page.

Presonus StudioOne
Download the free version of StudioOne so you can record multitracks right off your digital board and push them back in for a virtual soundcheck.  You can also plug in some headphones at home and practice mixing without a band in front of you.

RTA Audio
Free RTA meter for your iPhone.

Decibel X
Free dB meter for your iPhone.

UE SPL
This is an old app that only works on older devices.  It has some great features and is free.

Instrumentalist

Riffstation
This app has a minimal cost, but allows you to do some great things with transposing music and rehearsing on your own.

Presonus StudioOne
Download this free software to begin writing/recording your own music or re-mixing your live events.

n-Track Tuner
It never hurts to have a tuner handy.

Soundboard Lite
Use this app to load pads or other tracks you can play along with or use in performance.

forScore
This app is great for live performance and can be setup to use a Bluetooth pedal to flip forward and backward through your music.

Video Editor

HitFilm Express
This is a free video editor.  It is fully featured and highly capable as a free tool and has add-ons you can purchase to further enhance your video productions.

Open Broadcast Software
This is a free, open source broadcast software that allows you to record or live stream video for your organization.
